Online Travel Booking Tools
Travel Edge implements and supports two primary corporate-focused online booking tools including Concur and Deem. Both systems integrate with expense reporting programs and provide employees with exponentially more customer service benefits than those found on consumer sites. At the same time, Travel Edge helps clients benefit from internet booking trends followed by employees via consumer websites and moves these bookings into a controlled corporate environment where corporate travel policy and costs can be monitored.
Web Fare Integration
Travel Edge agents employ BookingBuilder Technologies which alert them to possible lower web fares for traveler itineraries. If found, BookingBuilder will process web bookings and capture all relevant traveler profile and MIS information. Both online tools, Concur and DEEM are programmed by Travel Edge for direct access to Southwest Airlines web fares.
Travel Edge’s Calendar Programs provide employees with an easy method to keep track of their travel itineraries and manage change. Reservation activity can be updated by trip segment or can be inserted globally based on client preference.
Mobile Travel Tools
Travel Edge’s Mobile Support can be accessed through BlackBerry, iPhone and Android devices. Travelers can retrieve itineraries, add new car, hotel, taxi and dining reservations to existing reservations and check-in for flights through the mobile application. In the event of gate changes or service alerts, travelers will be proactively notified.
Unused Ticket Tracking
Travel Edge’s unused ticket tracking provides instant on-line notification of unused tickets. Unused online and call center tickets can be used at point-of-sale by travelers and travel administration. Unused ticket reports are provided to monitor the ongoing utilization of these important assets.
CornerstoneOur proprietary Quality Control system monitors reservations for accuracy and adherence to travel policy. The Cornerstone Quality Control System is programmed to secure preferred seating assignments and notifies travelers if fares go down prior to departure. Cornerstone can be programmed to process reservation upgrade requests and trip authorizations. Clients can require cost center numbers to be input with every reservation and redirect the reservation for the necessary input.
Risk Management Software
Travel Edge offers Concur TMC Risk Messaging as our premier Duty of Care program which features a cooperate dashboard. Concur TMC Risk Messaging identifies the location of “at-risk” travelers. Employees that could potentially be affected by extreme weather or political unrest can be easily identified, located and rerouted.
